He was born in Northill in the County of Bedford. He is about 33 years of age. When he was about 14 he was placed out apprentice by the Trustees of Harpurs Charity to James Maynard of St Peter, Bedford, wheelwright, for seven years. When he had served about six years in St Peter he agreed with his Master to give up his Indenture and he accordingly left him and since that time has not done any act to the best of his knowledge or belief whereby to gain a settlement. He was married this morning at St Paul,Bedford to Elizabet Lingo.
