    Born at St Ives in Huntingdonshire in 1795. Her father belonged and lived there. About Michaelmas 1805 let herself to James Oyle at the Cross Keys St Ives where she continued about two years. In spring 1808 she let herself to William Docwra of St Ives, horsebreaker at five pounds a year wages. Stayed until Michaelmas 1810 then lived as servant with Thomas Rose, shopkeeper at Haddenham, Cambs about three quarters of a year. At Michaelmas 1812 let herself to James Reynolds at the Rose & Crown, Fenstanton, Huntingdonshire at six pounds six guineas. Went into that service the day after Old Michaelmas Day and quitted the same day 1813 and received the whole of her wages. She lived three quarters of a year after that with Rev Mr Edwards at Huntingdon. Three or four days after Michaelmas 1814 she hired herself to the rev John Wardle at Higham Gobion, County of Bedford, until next Michaelmas at the wages of ten guineas. Left it Michaelmas day 1815 and received the whole of her wages. About six weeks before Michaelmas 1815 she let herself to Mr John Wing at St Mary’s Bedford for a year at the wages of ten guineas and quitted Mr Wings the day before Michaelmas 1816 and received the whole of her wages. She let herself a fortnight before she left Mr Wing to Captain Griffiths of St Mary, Bedford for a year at the wages of eleven guineas, and continued with him until 4 Oct 1817 when she quitted his service on account of a dispute at Southampton where the family had resided from the beginning of June and received her full years wages. In April 1818 she let herself to Mr Henry Manning, surgeon at St Ives till the next Michaelmas at the wages of six guineas. At Michaelmas last she engaged herself to Mr Manning by the year at the wages of twelve guineas. About the middle of November last she gave Mr Manning warning to quit and left his service on the 8 Jan last receiving 3 guineas for a quarter’s wages.
