Veasey, as to a locksman on the Ivel Navigation refusing to allow Harvey’s servants “to put their eel pots in the sluice gates by which means I am deprived of a dish of fish of which I am very fond . . . . I wish you would give him a hint that I shall try and persuade the Commissioners to look out for a more accommodating person . . . .”
