Billington next road leading from Edlesborough to Leighton
Buzzard, with half the garden in the front, and 2 acres
sweard and one land arable which testator bought of John Millard
to dau. Eliz. Paine cottage where James Pheasant lives at
Billington adj. last cottage on E with remainder of garden,
also 2 acres sweard at Billington bought of Mr. Gutteridge
(the 2 cottages were lately built on part of land bought
from one Crawley)
to dau. Sarah two cottages where testator and one William Avery
now live at Billington, adj. last cottage, with path leading
to Green and close lying behind first two cottages. Also
household goods.
to dau. Mary Paine cottage where Richard Hodgens now lives at
Billington adj. last described premises with barn and
workhouse attached, now in tenure of son John Paine, and
bought of Jn. Pettingal esq., with 2 acres sweard at Billington
Mead pur. of Briant Mouse
to son John cottage where he now dwells (except the said workhouse
and barn on W) at Billington, and close of pasture belonging to it
son Joseph Paine 6a. arable land and premises at Stanbridge,
pur. of George Fowler
to son William Paine, land in L.B. bought of Messrs. Sandon, Hack,
Ellingham and Costin.
