Messrs Terry of Aylesbury gave me notice to quit the above property which notice expires on the 29th Instant. I have refused to take possession of the same as when I let the House there was a license to it. They have let the licence drop for two years and it cannot be restored only by giving the usual notice for a new licence. They have sent me the rent to the 29th Instant will you kindly say if I shall take to the House without the license or otherwise I cannot find any written agreement but was let verbally.”
