- Scope and Content- to his wife Elizabeth Ainsworth his messuage with farm buildings, warehouse etc. in Park Street, Luton in his own occupation (with responsibility for maintanence and insurance); remainder to their son William Ainsworth; the property to be charged with 200 legacies to his daughters Mary Ainsworth and Sarah Ainsworth, so long as they lived in the premises, which William was to allow them to do, rent free, until they married or left of their own accord, interest on the sums payable by William at 4% per annum; - to the executors of his will his real estate on Hart Hill and Hog Hall, Luton and all residue of real estate, in trust for sale and division of the sale monies between his children: William Ainsworth; Joseph Ainsworth; Ann Lee; Elizabeth Jones; Mary Ainsworth; Sarah Ainsworth; the sum of 200 to be deducted from payments to William, Mary and Sarah and divided equally between the rest - to his wife Elizabeth the goodwill of his business as a grocer and provision merchant and all his stock in trade for her sole benefit; - to his wife Elizabeth his household effects; remainder to his children to be divided in the same manner as the sale proceeds noted above; - executors to sell all his farming stock and call in all loans etc. and distribute the funds to his six children in the same manner as the sale proceeds noted above; - to his son Samuel Ainsworth 10 only and no share in his siblings' legacies etc. due to the sums paid to him for his advancement in the testator's lifetime; - his son Joseph Ainsworth, having received more money from the testator during his life than his siblings, to have 100 deducted from his legacies [and divided among the rest]; - his wife Elizabeth, his son William and his son in law William Lee appointed executrix and executors; - wish to be buried in a decent yet frugal manner - witnesses: Frederick Chase; Robert J.Pope; George Rands
