Acknowledgement between John Sale and Thomas Green. John Sale rents from Thomas Green - cottage at Langford as lately sold by John Sale to Thomas Green (except piece lately sold by him to George Course) paying 7s at Michaelmas and then 35s yearly. If rent is punctually paid he shall live in the house for life and his wife, Elizabeth Sale, after him. They are to personally occupy the premises. If default, or claim made to the premises adversely to the conveyance, then they become tenants at will at rent of 10 p.a. mark of John Sale and signature of Thomas Green witness Geo Austin
