Wm Lucas' moiety of messuage or tenement in Cock Street, Hitchin, Herts now and for sometime past divided into two tenements (one of which is used as the Red Lion Inn in occ of Harriet Lewin, widow
The other is used as a Baker's Shop and is used as a baker's shop) [sic]
The Gateway or gates next the street but not the room or chambers over the same
The Lower Yard to the messuage belonging with Brewhouse, washhouse, pump, shops, barn, stables, outhouses and
other buildings on south side of the yard and which are in the occ of Harriet and Jn Lewin. Workshop formerly in occ of Jnthn Paternoster and now of Geo Prudden and which is usually entered from Corries Yard by permission of the owner of the yard. Gateway, shed and great barn, now occ by Harriet Lewin and all other buildings south of the gateway at the upper end of the said yard. Garden in occ of Harriet Lewin on south side of upper yard with the north fence of the said gdn.
AND messuage or Public House, Shitlington (on west side of Turnpike from Hitchin to Bedford called 'The New Inn' with Barns, gardens, orchards, etc, occ by Sam Jarvis
AND allotment of arable land adj [3A 0R 19P] also in occ of Sam Jarvis
