Letter Reads- Letter from Lady Parkes. She is sorry to hear that the wood which was long since ordered to be cut down has not yet been cleared away. This is the only time of year the place is of use to her and she finds it disagreeable to have an untidy set of work people about the place on arrival. She hopes Mr. Bennett will give it his immediate attention and have it put in order as soon as possible. She thinks he cannot be aware of the exceptional disorder the place is in and the want of regular workmanlike proceedings in those employed.
