Letter: Hen. Brandreth to Jacson, with much the same information. The Lesleys are pulling down anything erected by Mr. Lesley. 'The whole of the Trees and Shrubs have either been cut down or stocked up with the exception of two or three old apple trees which in fact were destroyed by the removal of the others. Among the former were firs, ash and chesnut in a thriving state but planted by the late Mr. Lesley. Doesn't advise legal action. Mr. Charles Lesley asserts that Jacson has no legal right. Brandreth very timorous.
