Premises were therafter invested in John Norris of Brogborough,, husbandman, eldest son of Roger Norris of Brogborough, husbandman Indenture of assignmnet dated 27 Oct 1762 between William Cowley of Broughton, Bucks, grazier/Francis Durrant of Great Brickhill, Bucks, grazier/ Thomas Cook/John Backhouse of Leighton Buzzard, victualler. Premises in Ridgmont occupied by thomas Cook and John whittemore, the freehold having been pirchase for the younger children of John Ireland, dec.
