    Two copies of request for limited letters of administration one unsigned and undated. Administration for the estate of William Beane of Harlington, gardener. Limited letters of administration were granted to Robert Henry Gibbon of Bedford, gentleman on behalf of Sarah Dennis of Bedford, Sarah Maccreath of Harlington and Thomas Maclear of Bedford, surgeon, in order to asssign legal title to premises and land in Harlington.

  • Scope and Content
    Indenture dated 20 April 1713 between William Woodward of Harlington, bricklayer and Hannah, his wife, and John Parson of Harlington, butcher and Alice, his wife, relating to property currently inhabited by William and Hannah Woodward, for a term of 777 years, with the proviso that the Woodwards should be allowed to draw water form the well. The property was previously bought from John Wheeler and Mary, his wife, daughter of John Search, alias Mitchell. Other persons named in the location of the prooperty are Richard and Robert Fells and Thomas Carter. Indenture dated 24 Feb 1713 between John Parsons and James Farmer the younger, grocer. Indenture of assignment dated 1 April 1724 between James Farmer and William Beane in trust for Mary Digby, widow and her son Hugh, blacksmith and daughter, Elizabeth, passing the property to Mary for life, then to her son and his lawfullly begotten children and then to Elizabeth and her heirs. William Beane having dief intestate with no administrator limited letters of administraion were granted to Robert Henry Gibbon.
