    1) Joseph Howell Blood of Witham, Esses 2) William Henry Wright, of Middleton Park, Queenstown, Ireland, late commander in the Royal Navy; 3)Barnard Dunnock, farmer; George Line, farmer and corn dealer; George Felts, finman and brazier; The Rev. George Philip Haydon, clerk and William Frederick Redman, carpenter all of Wootton, the present members of the School Board for Wootton. Recites: mortgage dated 1 August 1873; death of Sir Coventry Payne; appointment of 2) as sole executor; children of the Sir Coventry Payne are still minors; default on mortgage with £4178-10-9 still owing; agreement between 1) and 3) with consent of 2) for the purchase and conveyance of the plot of land. Now 1) conveys to 3) - all that plot of land situate in Wootton containing 2 roods 14 poles mroe ofr less which plot of land is bounded on all sides (except that fronting the roads leading form Cranfield and Wootton to Bedford by other property of the trustee under the wll of the said Sir Coventry Payne together with remainder of rents and profits. To the use of the school board and their successors forever to be applied and used as a site for a school outoffices and residence for school master or mistress. Consideration of £114 2shillings from 3) to 1) and 10 shillings paid to 2) Plan Schedule conveyance 30 Sept 1867 John Sheppard Berry to Sir Coventry Payne. Signed J Howell Blood, W H Wright. Witnesses Wm Brindon Blood, Witham and ? solicitor, Queeenstown. Endorsed with memorandum 'by a transfer dated the 28th day of August 1996 and made by Bedfordshire County Council (the successor to the Wootton School Baord) to G Moore Haulage Limited the land comprised in the within written coveyance was transferred to G Moore Haulage Limited for an estate in fee simple and the right of the transferee to production of the within written conveyance (the possession of which was retained by Bedfordshire County Council by reason of the trusts declared therin) and to delivery of copies thereof was thereby acknowledged.'
