    The King -v- Jack Brown, John Hart, Frank Tranded and George Ives. Court of Trial: Bedfordshire Quarter Sessions held at Bedford Presentment of the Grand Jury: Jack Brown, John Hart, Frank Tranded and George Ives are charged with the following Offence: - First Count. Statement of Offence: - Housebreaking and Larceny, contrary to Section 26(1) of the Larceny Act 1916 Particulars of Offence: - Jack Brown, John Hart, Frank Tranded and George Ives on the thirtieth day of July in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Twenty-two in the County of Bedford broke and entered the dwelling house of Cyril James Walters and stole two pairs of trousers a sport coat, a wallet, a pair of hair brushes, a comb, two cigarette cases, four collars, two ties, one skirt, one necklace, one clock and a hat together of the value of eight pounds the property of the said Cyril James Walters in the said dwellinghouse. Second Count. Statement of Offence: - Receiving stolen goods, contrary to Section 33(1) of the Larceny Act 1916 Particulars of Offence: - Jack Brown, John Hart, Frank Tranded and George Ives on the thirtieth day of July in the year aforesaid in the County of Bedford did received two pairs of trousers a sports coat, a wallet, a pair of hair brushes, a comb, two cigarette cases, four collars, two ties, a skirt, a necklace, a clock and a hat the property of Cyril James Walters knowing the same to have be stolen. Frank Tranded has been previously convicted of felony to wit Larceny on the seventh day of April 1919 at the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace held in and for the City of Leicester Date of Trial: - 11th October 1922 Plea: - Brown – Not Guilty; Hart - Not Guilty; Tranded ; Guilty admits previous conviction; Ives Not Guilty Verdict: - Guilty of [illegible] Judgment: Tranded - 7 days imprisonment & revocation of Borstal Licence.
