- Scope and ContentI HENRY WILCOX rector of the Parish of Clophill is the County of Bedford in pursuance of the provisions of an Act passed in the 48th year of the reign of his late Majesty King George the Third entitled An Act for Inclosing Lands in the Parish of Clophill in the County of Bedford, HEREBY APPLY IN WRITING to the Justices in Quarter Sessions assembled for the County of Bedford at Bedford on the 5th day of April 1922 (having first given notice in writing to the proprietors of the various estates, lands, and grounds within the said parish liable to payment of yearly rents or sums of money in lieu of tithe to me as the said Rector three calendar months at least before such sessions) to have the average price of good marketable wheat within the said County of Bedford for the term of Fourteen years next preceding the said Sessions enquired of and ascertained in accordance with the said Act in order that the amount of all future payments of the said rents or sums of money in lieu of tithe may be fixed according to the average prices so to be ascertained.
