Scope and Content
Many of the articles are reminiscences and some are long pieces from which extracts were published. The accompanying letters between the author and the editor often give background and context to the article.

System of arrangement
The articles are roughly in order of date of receipt. No attempt has been made to impose any other order on them.
Articles have only been kept if they appear to have continuing interest, the author is known, and where they are not known to have been published or be held by Bedfordshire Archives in another form elsewhere. All others have been destroyed.
