(i) William Elliott, Dunstable, straw hat manufacturer (on behlaf of himself and the devisees under the will of George Elliott, dec.) (ii) Joseph Osborn, Dunstable, draper (i) agrees to sell and (ii) to buy Consid. - £1500 - 2 messuages etc in High Street, Dunstable, now in occ. of (ii) and Sophia Waterfield Subject to an annuity payable thereout of £20 p.a. during life of John Underwood - all fixtures and fittings about the premises belonging to the vendors (i) agrees to make a good title and deliver same if required to (ii) Purchase to be completed before 25 March next. If not then 5% interest payable on balance of purchase money £50 deposit has been paid (ii) agrees to remove present fence now standing between the garden and the paddock now in occ. of said Sophia Waterfield to the boundary of the garden ground contracted to be sold. (ii) being allowed £5 by vendors on completion of purchase (i) to give said Sophia Waterfield notice to quit said messuage, garden, paddock and barn etc (ii) is to make no claim for unexpired term of lease now held by his father George Osborn Signatures (copy) both Witness: J N Cartwright Memorandum of receipt of £50
