- Scope and Content(i) No 2. depositions of Ronald Murray Primett as to the posting of Notices in the matter of the Diversion of Footpaths at the Tanyard Limbury Beds (ii) No 2. Ronald Murray Primett on his oath said the following :- I am an Articled Clerk with Messrs Austin & Barnard, Solicitors, Luton & carrying out instructions given to me by Harold Pickering the surveyor to the Luton Rural District Coucil, I posted copies of a notice issued by him (produced to me marked "D") at both ends of the existing footpath, which said notices remained so posted for 4 successive weeks ending the 22nd, 29th January & 5th,12th February 1921. And I further posted copies of the said notices on the doors of the Parish Church of Limbury cum Biscot & the Parish Church of St Mary's Luton which said notices remained so posted for 4 successive Sundays namely 23rd, 30th January & 6th, 13th February 1921. And of my own knowledge I declare that the said notices were posted in accordance with the statute in that behalf made & provided. Signed Ronald M Primett 21st February 1921 iii) No 2. The instruction of Harold Pickering, who on his oath said the following :- I am an Associate Member of the Royal Santiary Institute & a Member of the Institution of Municipal Engineers. I am the Surveyor to the Luton Rural District Council. I produced a plan (marked "A") & signed by me describing the present highway or footpath in the Parish of Limbury & details of the proposed stop up between the points marked "C" & "E" I have ascertained from actual measurements that the Metes Bounds & measurements marked on such plan are accurat., I produced a certied extract (marked "B") of the minutes of Limbury Parish Council Metting of 15th December 1920, I produced a certied extract (marked "C") of the minutes of Luton Rural District Council Metting of 10th January 1921 giving its consent to such diversion as aforesaid. In pursuance of the said resolution of the District Council of 10th January 1921 on instruction given by me an application was made to His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the Petty Sessional Division of Luton for two Justices to view the said footpath in accordance with the requirements of the Statute in that behalf & the said Justices then agreed that the said view should be made & to my personal knowledge it was made. On direction of the said two Justices I drew up a notice & I produce a copy of the said notice (marked "D") which was duly posted in accordance with the Statute in that behalf. I produced 4 copies of the "Luton News" dated 20th, 27th January & 3rd, 10th February 1921 (& marked "E" "F" "G" "H") which the said newspaer is the principle local paper circulating within the district where the footpath is situated . I produce an assent (marked "I") by the owners of the land over which the proposed new footpath is to be made. I produce a certified extract marked ("J") of the minutes of Limbury Parish Council Meeting of 19th February 1921 confirning the resolution that the Council passes on 15th December 1920. signed Harold Pickering dated 21st Februaty 1921
