Purchased from Sotheby's, 19 Motcomb Street, London. Accession 4607 purchased on 27 October 1978 at 50p each. The originals of these pictures were coming up for sale on 31 October 1978. Accession 7015 was a gift of Sotheby's 34-35 New Bond Street on 26 June 1986. The original paintings appeared in the sale of English Naive and Provincial Art on 22nd July 1986.
