  • Scope and Content
Is going to have ears syringed. Have 2 or 3 times been obliged to go without beef for two or three weeks together. Legs of mutton every day for three weeks - roast, boiled, fired, hashed etc., so managed to be none the worse for the absence of beef. Is going to have the shoe-house lime washed all over to kill the vermin. Comment about walking through the bush and Herbert shooting birds.
