    - the manor or lordship of Nares alias Neers in Leighton Buzzard; a messuage called Nares in occupation of William Stare, adjacent the common heath called Leighton Heath; closes called Nares and Gledleys, in occupaion of William Stare, at the further end of Leighton Heath; divided only by the lane leading to Braggenham called Braggenham Lane; the closes below the lane being called Nares, and those above being called Gledleys; in all 80 acres; adjacent Leighton Heath South East, Braggenham North East and closes of the heirs of Charles Leigh South West; paying annually a fee farm rent of 5s4d to the king.
