  • Scope and Content
Was very pleased with the photographs that George sent and will add them to his album with the photographs of Searle [Charles Searle Askew] and the two little ones. Visited the old place [Odell] at Christmas and stopped at the Castle with the Repton family who still live there and saw George's niece. There are many of his old friends left, the Darlows, John Newcomb and several Odells of all ages - how quickly twenty years have passed since he was there with George. Was glad to hear that George had his children baptised by Mr Jenns [Revd. P Jenns]. Has heard that a good man is going out to Canada, Archdeacon Wright.
