- TitleLetter from Reverend Charles Edward Searle to George Thomas Askew. Sent from Pembroke College [Cambridge]
- Date free text1 February 1873
- Production dateFrom: 1873 To: 1873
- Scope and ContentApologies to George for the delay in writing to him. Has received the newspapers and is very please with the photograph of George's house and family. Notes that he has been delayed in writing to George as he has been anxious about his mother who is now 80 and had a very trying winter. Was visited by Mr Sanders who gave him news of Odell. There was a concert at the school and Thomas Kennedy had died. Has not been to Odell for some months, not since he went to stand as godfather for Mr Hunt's [William Cornish Hunt] little girl.
