Dear Mr Munckton
Would you kindly send us up two cases of petrol M.P. (sic). It is nearly impossible to get here although we use car only for meeting Colonel Campbell at Thornton Junction, the trains are so very bad, yet we seem to use a great deal of petrol!
I had a very interesting letter from Mr (?) Milburn from Mesopotamia, he was having a rough time, I think.
The last lot of grapes came much better, tell Modral, of course they throw them about dreadfully, the peaches get so bruised.
I hope everything is all right at home, and when the troops will go. The losses are fearful. Colonel Campbell has sent away nearly all his men to France.
We are well, but find this a very tiring place.
Hoping you are all well
I am yours very truly
Dorothy C Campbell
