    City of Bath (To Wit) These are to Certify that at the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace holden at the Guildhall, in and for the City of Bath, in the county of Somerset, on the fifth day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand Nine Hundred and seventeen. Arthur Denbig otherwise Arthur Harrison was, in due form of Law, tried and (on his own confession) convicted upon an Indictment against him , for that he on the eighth day of November in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and sixteen in the City of Bath with intent to defraud obtain from Philip Herbert Brown Two Currency Notes of His Majesty’s Treasury of the value together of One pound ten shillings the property of Arthur Richard Saxty [Saxby] and others trading as “Lords” by false pretences (after a previous conviction of felony). And the said Arthur Denbig other wise Arthur Harrison was thereupon ordered and adjudged by the Court to be imprisoned and kept to hard labour for the space of Two Years (18 other charges against the said Arthur Denbig otherwise Arthur Harrison being taken into consideration by the court which said conviction still remains in full force and not revered or made void to the best of my information and belief. Given under my hand this eighth day of November in the year of our Lord 1919. (signed) Frederick D.
