- Scope and ContentQSR1918/4/6/2 Indictment The King -v- Ernest Moulster and Victor Edward Baxter. Court of Trial: Bedfordshire Quarter Sessions held at Bedford. Ernest Moulster and Victor Edward Baxter are charged with the following Offence: Statement of Offence Warehouse breaking, contrary to section 26 of the Larceny Act 1916. Particulars of Offence: Ernest Moulster and Victor Edward Baxter on the eighth day of August 1918 in the Borough of Luton did break and enter the warehouse of Arthur Robert Child, Percy Frederick Arthur Child and Francis Child with intent to steal therein and did steal therein nine postage Stamps twenty two insurance stamps, the property of the said Arthur Robert Child, Percy Frederick Arthur Child and Francis Child the said property being of the value of thirteen shillings and seven pence. Ernest Moulster has been previously convicted of felony, to wit, larceny on the twenty second day of June 1918 at the Court of Summary Jurisdiction in and for the Borough of Luton Date of Trial: - 9th October 1918 Plea: Each Guilty; admits Verdict: Judgment: Moulster 3 years Borstal Treatment; Baxter bound over in the sum of £10 to come up for judgement if called upon.
