    Before the court of Summary Jurisdiction sitting at Luton aforesaid; The 29th March 1919 Leonard Williams (hereinafter called the Defendant) , is this day convicted for that he on 21st March 1919at the Borough of Luton, feloniously did receive of one Aubrey Smith a fowl of the Value of 9 shillings, the property of George Rosson, which had lately been feloniously stolen, he the said Leonard Williams then well knowing the same to have been so feloniously stolen. It is Adjudged that the Defendant, for the said offence be Imprisoned in His Majesty'sPrison at Bedford & kept at hard Labour for 3 months signed Edwin Oakley, Justice of the Peace for the Borough
