    11 [Ebenezer] Street Luton Beds Sir I respectfully ask you if you will try and give my son Ernest Moulster another chance for he has had no mother to look after him for over 7 years and I think I have been to easy with him on account of his mother being dead and not been strict enough for he [his] a boy easy led away and the company he has been keeping is not been of what it ought to be and I think he has been a tool for them so I will be more strict with him in the future and see that he keeps better company if you will be so good as to give him one more chance for I am very sorry that he has brought this trouble on us all he [his] a good lad to work and at home also one of the best to bring his wages home and to do anything for anyone hoping you will do your best for him as I don’t want a criminal made of him I am sending his eldest sister with this letter as I cannot get away from work I was left with 6 children the youngest 3 years when my wife died just over 3 years ago so I have had a hard struggle to get along with then and get them food and clothing. I have always worked hard and done my best and I will look after him also so I hope you will do your very best for him thanking you in anticipation I remain his father Mr. E Moulster
