    The application for the division of the Ravensden Footpath (with plan attached) signed by Messrs William John Guntrip , James Marshall & John Braybrook having been considered & after discussion IT WAS RESOLVED 1) That the consent of this Council be given to the proposed diversion of the public highway in the Parish of Ravensden leading from Ravensden & Renhold Road over Mowsbry Hill to a point on the Bedford & Kimbolton Road marked "A" on the plan annexed to the above mentioned notice & situate 12 feet to the North of where the Goldington Brook crosses the send Bedford & Kimbolton Road & the situation of which the highway is shown on the plan & represented by dotted lines & which plan is now produced to the Council & signed by the chairman & Clerk to the Council by diverting & turning & in part stopping up the same to & from the point marked "B" on the said plan which is situate at a distance of 132yards from the end of the highway marked "A" so the highway may be continued from point "B" in a straight line running almost due west over & across land belonging to William John Guntrip & parallel with his northern boundry fence dividing his land from from the land of George Guest. So as to effect a junction with the Bedford & Kimbolton Road at a point marked "D" on the said plan. The new highway to be made between "B" & "D" is coloured Red on the plan for the portion which lies between the first mentioned point marked "B" & the point marked "A" & by stopping up the last mentioned portion of the highway "B" to to "A" coloured Yellow on the plan. The council do consent to such diversion & turning & stopping of the said highway accordingly. 2) That the seal of the Council be affixed to the Agreement prepared by their Solicitors Messrs Halliley & Morrison the same being an Agreemnet between the Council & the Applicants with refer5ence to carrying the diversion into effect. 3) That the Clerk be & is hereby instructed to advise the Clerk to the Ravensden Parish Council of the resolutions & to ask him to cause Meetings of his Council to be convened for the purpose of passing a resolution signifying the consent of that Council & the publication of the requested notices. 4) That on receipt of copies of the Resolutions of the Parish Council giving their consent & the applicants having executed the Agreement above referred to the Solicitors be instructed to apply to the Justices to view & take such further steps as may be necessary to obtain an order of diversion at Quarter Sessions.
