The county Licensing Committee beg leave to report that during the year 1916 they received Reports from the undermentioned Renewal Authorities referring Licenses pursuant to Section 19 of the Act:- The Justices of the Biggleswade Division … … 3 Licences. Total 7 At their preliminary Meeting on the 3rd May, 1916, your Committee decided to proceed with all the above cases. At their principal meeting on the 31st May, 1916, your Committee decided to refuse the renewal of all the above mentioned Licences, and after hearing the several persons entitled to compensation, they awarded the amounts of compensation as shown below: - Name and situation of Premises; *Nature of Licence; **Amount Compensation to Licensee; ***Amount Compensation to OWNER, &c. ****Total Amount of Compensation. The Quarter Sessions this year imposed one fourth of the maximum Scale of Contributions to the Compensation Fund. 1V. Attendance of Members.
