Staement of the Offence :- Housebreaking & Larceny contrary to section 26 of the Larceny Act 1916 On 5th February 1917 at Barton Bedfordshire he did break & enter the dwelling house of Lizzie Cox & steal various items of jewellery, pencil cases, purse, flash lamp, a bunch of keys, a blouse & handkerchiefs valued at £16.00. He had previous convictions, including larceny on 7th October 1913 at Huntingdon , imprisoned in Cambridge for 12 months. plea; not guilty verdict ; Guilty Judgement; 3 years penal servitude Presiding judge; R M Lindsell CB.
