    Bedfordshire These are to certify that at the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace holden at Bedford, in and for the County of Bedford on the 7th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen Joseph Baker was in due form of Law convicted on a certain Indictment against him for that he on the 24th day of December 1913 about the hour of five of the night at Cranfield in the said County did burglariously break and enter the dwelling house of Henry William Bedford and therein did steal two pounds of beef and other articles the property of the said Henry William Bedford. Wherefore the said Joseph Baker was thereupon ordered to me imprisoned and kept to hard labour for the space of eighteen months. Dated the 10th day of March one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.
