Land Charges Registry against Malcolm Lloyd Griffith of 1 Knightsbridge London, Clerk in Holy Orders and Thomas Richard Jones of 44 Gledstanes Road, London Solicitor's Clerk -conveyance dated 24 September 1936 between Malcolm Lloyd Griffith and Thomas Richard Jones (Vendors) and Frederick Smith King of Risely (Purchaser) Reciting: - Will of Rt. Hon St. Andrew Lord St John Baron St John of Bletsoe (Fifteenth Baron) dated 23 June 1874 and proved 5 February 1888. Freehold property conveyed was with other property settled to uses under Moubray St. Andrew Thornton St. John (Eighteenth Baron). Norman Magnus MacLeod, Harry Norton Schofield and Malcolm Lloyd Griffith appointed as Trustees of Settlement. - Transitional provisions of LPA 1925 the legal estate in fee simple in the said property thereby conveyed became vested in the eighteenth baron upon the trusts of the said will. - Principal Vesting Deed dated 25 March 1927 between Norman Magnus MacLeod, Harry Norton Schofield and Malcolm Lloyd Griffith of one part, and the Eighteenth Baron. Declared that the property was vested in the eighteenth baron in fee simple upon the trusts and subject to the powers and provision upon and subject to the settlement. - Deed of Appointment of New Trustees dated the 12th March 1931. Retirement of Harry Norton Schofield and appointment of Henry Martin Ashford Sandford. - Deed of Appointment of New Trustees dated 11 May 1932. Retirement of Henry Martin Ashford Sanford and appointment of Thomas Richard Jones. - Eighteenth Baron agreed with purchaser for the sale to him for the sum of £725 of the fee simple of said property. No conveyance had been executed by the time of the Baron’s death. - Death of the Eighteenth Baron 28th October 1934. Will dated 17 January 1933. - Probate of will of Eighteenth Baron limited to settled land made 10th May 1935 was granted to the Vendors. Trustees made executors to the settled land by the Principal Probate Registry -under will of Fifteenth Baron, John Moubray Russell Baron St. John of Bletsoe (Nineteenth Baron), infant, if of full age would have had the powers of a tenant for live over the said settled land, but Vendors as personal representative of the Eighteenth Baron have all the powers conferred by the said Act and Will of the Fifteenth Baron. - Vendors convey to the purchaser in fee simple for the consideration of £725: Property: House, Buildings and Land amounting to 10.773 acres in the occupation of Frank Felce.
