- Scope and ContentOn 22 April 1731 Edward Hanger of Shefford, tanner, Alice his wife one of the daughters and coheirs of Thomas Willows late of Shefford deceased, surrendered their undivided share or part of -3 acres customary arable land in Meppershall and Clifton -8 acres of meadow and pasture ground with appenditure in Meppershall to the use of Edward and Alice Hanger for the term of their natural lives then to the use of the said Alice for ever. Alice to be admitted for her natural life reserving an estate for life to Edward then after the decease of both to the use of Alice Hanger & her heirs for ever.
