Digital scan of a colour photograph of Mr. Denton, aged about 55 years. He is pictured in the CK2 area of Stewartby brickworks. This is the only kiln that was covered with a pitched roof and ventilation at the sides. It was the size of 2 football pitches, had 80 chambers with 80000 bricks each and 3 chimneys.
