1. To all true Cristen people to whom[?] this p[re]sent wrytyng shall com[e] to, In as moche it is ameritor[?]
2. dede to testifie the trow[e?]th Valentyn Welle, Richard Gadyewe, Thom^a^s Mawer, Thom^a^s Lamer[?], Wyll[i]^a^m
3. Bradwey, John[ne?] thrale c[?]n in to the p[re]sence of John[?] Rotherh^a^m & John Acworth esquir[e?]s and testified
4. that the land that harry Falwell & Wyll[i]^a^m Durward hereunte pleteth for they testified & seyd
5. pleynli that the seyd land p[er]teyneth to the hermitage of mary mawdelen & hath belongynge ther[?]
6. to of olde continuance of the gyfft of Elenor Spurre /Thys Wytnesseth/ Rob[er]t Colyn, John[?] Crophyll
7. Wyll[i]^a^m Lep[er] men[?] of olde age, & many mo[re], and to this wrytyng they have put to theyr seals, wryten[?]
8. the Xiiij day of Junij(?) In the Reigne of Kyng Henry the vijth the thrid yer[e?]
