Documents etc. gathered during the project either as original physical documents or as digital scans of documents retained by interviewees and others interested in the project.

The documents are quite miscellaneous. They include: family and other photographs; printed ephemera re. the brick industry.

During the Changing Landscapes Changing Lives project it became apparent that interviewees and those who attended exhibition events wished to share their documents with the project. Some people were happy for their documents and photographs to be scanned and the originals were then handed back to them, other people were happy to loan or donate the original documents to the project. Most of the material gathered in was allocated a 'Cat' number. The scans included descriptive text explaining the scaned documents. No full list of the gathered material is to be found amongst the project paperwork accessible to the archive service. The scanned documents form part of the project paperwork made accessible to the archive service in about 2008. The physical material was deposited with the archive service in 2011. It has proved difficult to utilize the allocated cat numbers or to match the material to individual interviewees. Where a match has been made this is noted. Given the difficulty of using the original numbering system new catalogue references have been applied.
