Correspondence 83 Russell Road, Bowes Park. London Road October 15th 1911 Sir, My son Henry Byne who is now in Bedford Prison will be brought before you on Wednesday next to be tried on a charge of stealing a bicycle. From the various letters he has written home I can see that he is sorry for his mistakes and wished to have chance of reforming and taking on honest life I am convinced of his sincerity, and would ask you, Sir, in consideration of his youth and the three months he has been approaching his trial to temper justice with mercy. I am willing and anxious that he should come home and his mother and I will see to his future welfare. I am Sir, Yours Obediently Quentin Byne
