Deposition: Mary Ann Elizabeth Mayne of 211 Hitchin Road, in the Borough of Luton, and John Jordan of Park Street in the said Borough and Arthur Cannon Smith of Police Station in the said Borough. Taken on Oath this 15th day of July in the Year of our Lord One thousand Nine Hundred and eleven at Luton, in the Borough of Luton aforesaid, before the undersigned, one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said Borough of Luton, in the presence and hearing of Frank Kirkby who was charged this day before me for that he the said Frank Kirkby between Wednesday the 5th day of July 1911 and Thursday, the 6th day of July One thousand Nine Hundred and eleven the Borough of Luton aforesaid. Feloniously did break and enter the dwelling house of Albert Mayne there situate and therein feloniously did steal one Gold Chain, one Lady's Gold Watch, one Gold Brooch and one Gold Bracelet together of the value of Ten Pounds and the sum of about Eight Shillings in money the goods and chattels and money of Albert Mayne and Mary Ann Elizabeth Mayne.
