The amendment is dated 2 Dec 1856 and the land so required is marked with yellow stripes. Landowners: John Goosey; Duke of Bedford; Reverend J W Hawkesley; Admiral Robert Gambier; John Gibbard This is the type of plan used by the engineer and by the railway agent negotiating the purchase of land in the district. It is much more detailed than "plans deposited".
