- Scope and ContentThe Jurors for our Lord the King upon their Oath present that Stanley Arthur Franklin on the first day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirteen, one purse, one ring, one half sovereign, two two shilling pieces and one shilling of the moneys Goods and Chattels of one Samuel Roe feloniously did steal take and carry away. 2nd Count. And the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid, do further present that the said Stanley Arthur Franklin on the day aforesaid in the year aforesaid feloniously did receive and have the moneys Goods and Chattels aforesaid feloniously stolen, taken and carry away, he the said Stanley Arthur Franklin then well knowing the said goods and chattels to have been feloniously stolen, taken and carried away against the form of the Statute in such case made and provided. Plea: Guilty Verdict (no comment) Sentence: Postponed to next Sessions – bound over in £20 to come up for judgement.
