  • Scope and Content
Squire has received a copy of Henry's claim against estate. He has not yet seen "that person (you say solicitor)" with the paper Wright advised him to sign but "that person" is a member of Henry's office and Squire will sign no more papers without a solicitor's advice. Henry claims £250 but Squire only had £30 from him and signed over to him as collateral security his life policy for £200. Squire had paid £70 but does not know if Henry kept up with the payments. Squire is advised that Australian law would largely relieve him of the claim "for it was an unconscionable arangement in the eye of the law" but is hampered for want of funds. He does not understand the mention of interest in Henry's claim. On reverse: I am not all well a friend had to write this for me unsigned
