    Draft conveyance 1) Robert Carr of Toddington, butcher 2) Alfred Bandy of of Dunstable, builder Consideration: £100 Recites: Indenture of transfer of mortgage and further charge dated 8 January 1890 between Sarah Pearce, spinster, of the first part, Benjamin George, superintendent of the police, of the second part and (1) of the third part. All those eight freehold cottages or tenements in Queen Street (otherwise Mellors Yard) leading out of Church Street, then in the occupation of Boaz Hunt, Maria Ewer, Robert Bateman, Edward Harris, Josiah Knight, Sarah Robinson, Joseph Placeham and Thomas Rowe. Which said hereditaments were bounded on or towards the north by property belonging to Carts Charity on or towards the south partly by property late of W. Young but then of [blank] and partly by the said yard on or towards the east by property late of William Henry Derbyshire and then of John Clementson Scroggs and on or towards the west partly by the property of Carts Charity and partly by the said yard for the sum of £250. (1) agreed to sell to above properties to (2) for consideration above. First page of deed contains plan detailing plots of cottages on Mellors Yard, with names of other owners of adjoining plots inlcuding Carts Charity. Copy endorsement: By indenture dated 9 October 1895 Nos 8 & 9 Mellors Yard (part of the premises within) were by (2) conveyed unto the use of William Bandy of Dunstable, bricklayer
