- Scope and ContentCounty of Bedford. Walter Giddings acknowledges himself to be indebted to our Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of £30. Whereas by conviction under the Hands and Seal of Frederick William Conquest and Horace Stanley Deacon Esquires as Justices of the Peace at the Petty Sessions held at the Shire Hall, 2nd December 1911. Walter Giddings was convicted that he, on 25th September 1911 at Eastcotts, for the purpose of obtaining a licence for the removal of certain pigs did unlawfully make a declartion which was false, contrary to section 5s of the Diseases of Animals Act 1894.And whereas the said Walter Giddings has given notice of his intention to appeal against the conviction to the General Quarter Session pf the Peace to be held 3rd January 1912. The condition of the recognizance is that if Walter Giddings apears before the Quarter Sessions and pays such cost as awarded then this recognizance will be void.
