    The Jurors for our Lord the King upon their Oath present that Arthur Lewis on the 21st October one thousand nine hundred and ten the dwelling house of Anne Flecknell situate in the Parish of Luton in the County aforesaid feloniously did break and enter with intent the goods and chattels of Mary Medhurst in the said dwelling house then being feloniously to steal take and carry away and one clock of the value of twelve shillings and sixpence of the Goods and Chattels of the said Mary Medhurst then in the said dwelling house feloniously did steal take and carry away against the form of the Statute in such case made and provided and against the Peace of our Lord the King and his Crown and Dignity. 2nd Count And the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid, do further present that the said Arthur Lewis on the day aforesaid in the year aforesaid feloniously did receive and have the Goods and Chattels aforesaid so as aforesaid feloniously stolen, taken and carried away, he the said Arthur Lewis then well knowing the said goods and chattels to have been feloniously stolen, taken and carried away against the form of the Statute is such case made and provided. 3rd Count And the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid, do further present that on the twenty eighth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine at the Court of Summary Jurisdiction sitting at Northampton in the County Borough of Northampton the said Arthur Lewis was convicted of an indictable misdemeanour. Plea: Not Guilty, admits previous conviction. Verdict: Guilty. Sentence: Six Months imprisonment with Hard Labour
