- Scope and Content-- all that his messuage or farm in Little Paxton wherein the said Edward Bell lived at the time of his death with all houses, edifices, buildings and all lands in Little Paxton except woods and underwoods (other than the loppings of trees or willows usually lopped and plashes of quickhedges to be taken in seasonal times, except for the great elm near the barn) Rent: four bushels of good sound apples at Michaelmas and tenant not to plough up meadow or pasture Grant by (i) to (ii) yearly annuity of £30 charged on enclosed pasture ground called Stonely pasture containing 80 acres in the Hoo in Pertenhall in Bedfordshire, sometimes being parcel of the manor or lordship of Hooe and late being in tenure of Edward Bell, to be paid to Cecylie or her assigns at south porch of parish church of Pertenhall at the Annunciation and Michaelmas, the first payment to be made at the end of the 8 year lease of the farm above mentioned.
