Premium: 12s
Insuring from loss and damage by fire an amount not exceeding in each case:
A dwellinghouse and outbuildings all under one roof situate in Church Street, Dunstable, Beds £500
Two cottages adjoining the above, in equal proportions £300
All brick built, tiled and private.
One year policy from 29 September 1854 to 29 September 1855
Received: £1 4s for the duty of said policy, plus one years premium.

Handwritten on back of document - "The interest of Alfred Oliver in this policy has been assigned to the Governors of the Ashtons [Foundation]" Signature illegible, solicitor to the trustees and executors of the late Alfred Oliver. Stamped Richard Walton, secretary in Luton, 2 January 1894.
Also attached receipt from Manchester Fire Assurance Company dated 18 October 1893 for the amount of 12s for one year's premium on £800 to 29 September 1894.
