Notes from information provided by Mrs P. Hunting in June 1977 on the architects employed by Joseph Shuttleworth to design the mansion and stables at Old Warden. Henry Clutton was the primary architect and John Usher, a local architect-builder was responsible for the less important buildings. Clerk of works was William Bennison, Milner was the landscape architect and A. J. Pilkington was Clutton's assistant.
