Letter from Tathams & Co have been instructed by Mrs Oliver of Kingsbury House to take proceedings re. two strips of land belonging to her and fronting her property 'her only motive...is to prevent the nuisance and damage to her property by the erection of buildings on the pieces of land'. 8 March 1872. Letter from James Farmer re his purchase of lots 4 and 5 of land situate in front of Kingsbury House re. whether anyone can claim a carriage drive across lot 4, whether he might enclose each plot with a park fence or wall and whether he may erect a suitable cottage or two on each plot. 24 July 1873. Copy of purchasers questions and vendors replies re. Farmer purchase 28 July 1873 Copy of letter from George Willis re. resolution passed at a public meeting that a fence on his property in Church Street will be forcibly removed as he purchased the property from Mr Farmer who purchased it from the corporation will hold that body responsible for any injury to property.
