The Governors (5 - 8) are the trustees for the time being of The Ashton Almshouse Charity At the direction of the Governors the property was conveyed to the trustees for sale. The deed witnesses the Trustees (1-4) will stand possessed of the property and any rents, investments or proceeds from sale in trust for the Almshouse Charity at Dunstable to the intent that: (a) Subject to approval / planning the whole, or some part, or parts of the property be used as a site for the erection of Almshouses for poor widows of Dunstable who attend church on Sundays, and that the whole or parts shall be vested in the official custodian for charities.
